If the thought of being in front of a camera makes you a little nervous… you’re not alone. Almost every person who steps in front of my camera tells me the same thing: “We’re awkward in photos.”
And honestly? That’s exactly why I photograph the way I do.
My sessions aren’t about perfectly posed smiles or stiff directions. They’re about creating a space where you can simply be yourselves — where the focus isn’t on performing for the camera, but on being present with the people you love.
From the moment you inquire, my goal is to make this feel easy. I walk you through the entire process so you never feel lost or unsure of what comes next. We talk about your vision, what matters most to you, and the kind of moments you want to remember years from now.
When the day of your session arrives, it’s a lot less like a photoshoot… and a lot more like hanging out.
We move slowly. We talk. We laugh. Sometimes we chase your kids around while they explore, or pause for quiet moments when you pull your partner close. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but most of the time I’m simply watching for the real moments — the ones that happen naturally when you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there.
Those are the moments that matter.
The way your child reaches for your hand.
The way you look at your partner when you think no one is watching.
The tiny in-between seconds that often go unnoticed but somehow hold the most feeling.
That’s what I’m there for.
My approach is documentary at heart, which means I’m not trying to manufacture moments — I’m preserving the ones that are already unfolding. The result is a gallery that feels less like a collection of posed photos and more like a visual story of your life in that season.
Photos that don’t just show what things looked like.
But remind you exactly what they felt like.
Because years from now, when you look back at these images, I want you to remember more than just the day. I want you to remember the laughter, the connection, and the quiet magic of a moment that was completely, beautifully yours.
